How Long Should You Keep Your Makeup?
It is easy when we deal with food. It has expiration dates. Not like what we have in our make up. It doesn’t have the tag that tells us when to toss it out.

We need to know whether our makeup needs to be changed or not because of the bacteria that may be living in it or maybe it needs to be changed because it has lost its effectiveness.
Let’s take a moment and check out how make up should be and which ones to toss out now.
If it smells, throw it out.
Obviously, if your make up is not what it used to be, it is time to throw it out. Chances are the make up has overstayed its use.
Avoid buying in bulks

What to toss within three months
Makeup kits that easily harbor bacteria are the ones you need to toss out in three months. These would include sponges and razors. High –quality sponges will last up only up to three months even if you wash it after every use. The cheap ones should be tossed after one time use. Razors should be thrown out after six usages or if the blades are no longer sharp. Do not keep the razors in your shower.

From a young age, women start using makeup to make themselves look more appealing. There are a number of styles for different events, and it differs in shades, colors and finishes depending on what time of day it is. If you are planning a night out on the town then there are a number of makeup tips to note.
Moisturize: the key to applying makeup successfully is to have skin that is moist and supple. Dry skin may lead to disasters like flaky foundations and an uneven appearance.
Follow celebrity styles: most red carpet appearances you see will be evening events, and as such the celebrities are dressed up and their makeup done to suit this. Have a look at what sort of colors and styles they are using.
Simplicity: don’t go and follow the most intricate design you can find, because if you have never used it before chances are you will struggle. Keep it simple and make use of the basics to enhance what you already have.
Test drive: once you have decided what makeup you want to use, don’t wait until the evening to try it out. Testing the look out beforehand will help weed out any mistakes and will give you an idea of whether it is suitable.
Reflect your style: whatever design you want to go with, make sure that it is in keeping with your style. There is nothing worse than sporting a look that you are not comfortable in. People will definitely pick up on this vibe from you.Touch-up kit: remember that you will be eating, drinking, talking and probably dancing, so your makeup will not stay perfect the entire evening. It is a good idea to bring a makeup bag with the essentials in it.
